Privacy Policy

Overview

Measure Live ("Measure Live," "we," "us," or "our") provides the System Plot desktop application, optional online publishing, licensing, support, and related websites. This policy explains what information we handle, why we handle it, and the choices available to you.

Information handled on your device

System Plot stores project files, settings, reports, exports, and caches locally on your Mac or Windows computer. This local information does not leave your device unless you choose to publish, activate a direct-download licence, contact support, or otherwise send it to us.

Information we collect

• Measure Live account information: the username and email address you provide, a securely hashed password, account identifiers, separate product entitlement and subscription statuses, and account preferences.
• Published project content: reports, HTML documents, project names, venue and revision details, completion status, and other files you intentionally upload through System Plot.
• Apple subscription information: product and transaction identifiers, an app-account token, entitlement status, expiration and revocation information, and whether a transaction is from Apple's sandbox or production environment. Apple processes payment details; we do not receive your complete card or banking information from Apple.
• Direct-download purchase and licensing information: depending on your distribution channel, an email address, payment and subscription status, Stripe customer or transaction identifiers, machine activation identifiers, app version, and activation timestamps. Stripe processes payment-card details; we do not store complete card numbers.
• Support and website information: information you send when contacting us, together with standard service logs such as IP address, browser or device information, request time, and diagnostic or security events generated by our hosting providers.

How we use information

• Provide, authenticate, maintain, and secure System Plot and online publishing.
• Confirm purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and licence eligibility.
• Host the project material you choose to publish and provide the viewer links you request.
• Respond to support requests, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
• Send product updates and newsletters when you explicitly choose to receive them. This choice is optional and does not affect your account or product access.
• Meet accounting, legal, regulatory, and dispute-resolution obligations.

We do not sell personal information or use System Plot project content for targeted advertising.

When information is shared

We share information only as needed with service providers that support app distribution, payments, hosting, email, security, and technical operations, including Apple and, for direct purchases, Stripe. Providers may process information outside Canada under their own legal and security obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards.

Published viewer links are intended for sharing. Anyone who receives a working viewer link may be able to see the associated published project material until that link is rotated, expires, or the material is removed.

Retention and security

Published material is retained according to the availability period you select and may be removed or replaced through normal publishing operations. Account, entitlement, support, transaction, and security records are retained only as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no electronic service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can keep project information local by not using online publishing, rotate shared viewer links, manage or cancel Apple subscriptions through your Apple Account, and manage direct subscriptions through the provided billing portal. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we control, subject to identity verification and applicable recordkeeping requirements.

You can subscribe to or unsubscribe from product newsletters at any time from the Email Updates setting in your Measure Live account portal. Account, security, service, and billing messages are not controlled by that newsletter preference.

Children

System Plot is professional software and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and change the effective date when an update becomes effective.
